Family Church is designed to equip and encourage parents in the essential task of discipling their own children. 

In Practice, Family Church truly helps the church feel like family, and our families feel like church. 

Family Church meets once a month on a Sunday evening at Fountain of Life Fellowship CRC.

What is family church?

At Fountain of Life, we sincerely affirm the biblical view that parents are the primary teachers of their own children and that the family is the foundational place for Christian discipline (Deuteronomy 6:4-25). Family church, therefore, is designed to embrace whole families and empower them to study the Bible together. The target age range for this program is ages 8-18, and any families with children within that range are welcome to come as a whole family. 

Each semester, our Children's Ministry Coordinators select study material for families to discuss together at home. Each family also receives a schedule of at-home reading and discussion, with the assumption that parents will tailor the materials to what is best for their own children. 

What does a typical monthly session look like?

• Field games for all ages!
• Focused conversation about the studied material
• Small group time of prayer
• Informal fellowship
